‍‍‍A little about us;

Our club is a nonprofit organization whose purpose is to promote the study of mineralogy and geology by encouraging the collection of minerals, fossils and gems, and by providing field trips. We encourage the study of lapidary through workshops and networking with other members of the club.

Our club colors are pink for Rhodonite and green for Jade.
Salinas Valley Rock and Gem Club is a member of the California Federation and the American Federation of Mineralogical Societies.

We have a club library of books and videos.

We hold an annual show on the 2nd week in March for the education and enjoyment of the public.

Club dues are $15 for singles and $25 for families per year, and $5 for each badge requested. Dues are payable in December for the following year.

Our meetings are on the third Monday of every month at the Northminster Presbyterian Church, 315 East Alvin Drive, Salinas, CA 93906 at 6:30 pm.  (click on to see the next meeting dates)
